T-LOG 05 - The Legend Takes on a Life of its Own

Look at his stupid little face.

Lions, Tigers, In Print, On the News, and New Stories oh my!

Well blow me down it has been quite a while since the last Behind the Legend Update. So what has happened since last time? Well...

Realm of Owls featured Gareus in their comic strip, it is a fantastic little peice of Realm of Owl history and it truly was humbling to see our old Gareus drawn by other people and given such a fitting part. Please check out the comic HERE.

We also started and finished our longest story; The NoExp Crossover! I love the work there at NoExp and was very, very happy to be allowed to run an origin story for the world of 8-bit Questria. The whole story is up on this site and over at at NoExp HERE too so please check it out!

Hmm what else?...

Oh yeah, we got our first story 'The Hero of Copperton' printed in issue #30 of Funtime Comics Anthology!!!!!! I attended the local Con event Armageddon trying to hawk off New Zealand comics to unsuspecting Star Wars fans over a few days. It was delightful.

You can now order copies of Gareus' first print appearance now at the Funtime store HERE

There are two new stories on the horizon also and the inklings of a dive into Gareus' childhood so we can learn a little more about his fascination with wicker and the odd, odd, adornment of Dave with images of eels. More on that shortly.

Oh and we got interviewed for the news here in New Zealand with an article in print and one online with a little video too!!! Check it out HERE.

Geez its all been go hasn't it?

One of the first sketches of Gareus. Note at this point I still considered him brave enough to at least carry a sword. The sketch had 'Gareus essence' written on it and yes I think the essence is there, I could smell it before I even opened the draw ;-)
